This are some of the art that I made for AP Studio Art. Colors and symbols used in my concentration are meant to encapsulate my emotions while dealing with different sensations. The concentration starts with unsettling imagery and dark undertone to represent the criticisms, the pressure and the expectations I had received. Metaphors such as webs are used to portray the struggle to meet expectations, and spider symbolism is used to indicate that you are weave your own destiny. The overall message of the whole series focuses on the idea of contentment and self acceptance as the art work transitions from the dark villainous imagery to the lighthearted pastel color tone by the end of the concentration.
